Diana Renner
Leadership Educator, Consultant, and Award-Winning Author

Diana Renner is a leadership educator, consultant, and award-winning author based in Melbourne, Australia. Over the years, Diana has led the design, facilitation and coaching for a variety of leadership development programs across the social, private and public sectors across Australia, as well as in the United States, Italy, UAE, Singapore, and Indonesia. She has been working as a Senior Lecturer at Monash University for more than 10 years and has partnered with Melbourne & Monash Business Schools, the Australian Public Services Commission, and the Australian Institute of Police Management.
Diana’s innovative approach weaves together adaptive leadership, adult development and process-oriented psychology, nurturing creativity and building skills for successfully managing uncertainty and making progress in complexity. She is passionate aboutdeveloping leadership capability for social impact and believes that leadership is an activity that anyone can engage in, regardless of background or position.
Diana’s co-authored books ‘Not Knowing: The Art of Turning Uncertainty into Opportunity’(UK Management Book of the Year) and ‘Not Doing: The Art of Effortless Action’ have been translated into over twelve languages. Diana serves as a committee member of the Australian Adaptive Leadership Institute, where she previously held the position of inaugural Chair for three years.
